******************************************************************************Dear game teachers, researchers, supervisors and students,
During CHI Play 2017 we will host a Student Game Design competition. This competition will provide a unique opportunity for students to showcase their interactive play systems and designs, and make a name in the broader game and play research and development community. Two winners will be selected, both by a jury and popular vote, during the CHI Play conference.
In order to be eligible, the game development time should be no more than 72 man months and all members of the game development team should be students. If you made a good game that you think deserves a spotlight, please feel strongly encouraged to send in an extended abstract (max. 6 pages) describing the game. Alternatively, if you supervise students who make games, please feel strongly encouraged to disseminate this message to them. There is no hard limit to the number of games that can be sent in per university.
Students whose game gets selected to be presented at the conference, will get one waived conference registration, to present the game in Amsterdam as well as attend the rest of the conference.
